Fried Sweet Potato with Red Bean Paste Balls 豆沙番薯蛋


这是七月份时做的。其实存档里还有蛮多食物的照片,有时间的话我希望能够都做个记录。

以前习惯用镬炸东西,我们家的镬还蛮大的,要用很多油,清洗又很不方便,所以我很怕油炸。自从改用小锅子来炸后觉得炸东西其实也可以很轻松,所以就比较常做油炸的食物。(有没有注意到近年来比较多油炸食物的帖子?)


这个番薯蛋的做法相当简单。除了包入红豆沙外,一部分我包了花生酱,我和家人几乎更爱花生酱那款,觉得更香更好吃。番薯蛋到隔天还是软的哦。


Fried Sweet Potato with Red Bean Paste Balls  

 
   Ingredients:
   300g sweet potato (sliced) (I used honey sweet potato from Indonesia)
   1 tbsp sugar  
   5 tbsp flour  
   200g red bean paste 
   Oil for deep frying
 
   Method:
  1. Steam sweet potato. Mash it when it is still hot.
  2. Add sugar and flour and mix well to form soft dough (you may add little bit of water if needed).
  3. Divide dough into equal portion and wrap with red bean paste and roll into ball.
  4. Heat up cooking oil and deep fry over medium low heat till golden brown.  
   Note:
  1. I have also made some with peanut butter fillings. My family commented that they tasted even better than the red bean paste version!
  2. The fried sweet potato balls remain soft on the next day.
 
   豆沙番薯蛋

   材料:
   番薯 300克 (切片)
   白糖 1汤匙
   面粉 5汤匙
   豆沙 200克
   炸油 适量

   做法:
  1. 番薯蒸熟,趁热压烂。
  2. 加入白糖和面粉拌成软面团(如需要可加入少许水)。
  3. 分成等份,包入适量豆沙,滚圆。
  4. 热油,用中小火炸至金黄色。

      我好久没买来吃了。

      这个番薯蛋是比较软的,不大像夜市卖的QQ的,我才QQ的应该是加了糯米粉。

      其实油炸的东西还是少吃的好,但是我想如果要吃还是在家里自己炸比较放心,外面的炸油。。。。

    还以为是发簪,原来是汤匙噢.
