just bake like that? looks healthy and easy :)
ReplyDeleteDidn't know that it can be baked...
ching,
Anncoo,
tracieMoo,
ReplyDeleteYa, it is indeed very easy but you got to be a bit patience especially if your oven is not big.
Hi Sharon,
ReplyDeleteNext time you can try. It is as crispy as fried one but I find it "drier" than the fried one coz no oil is used.
Ah Yng,
*Lucius boy
ReplyDeleteSock Peng,
Ah Yng,
cherry potato,
You did this so beautifully! I did mine the lazy way - microwave oven :P
ReplyDeleteBlessed Homemaker,
ReplyDeleteI don't have a microwave oven, I am sure if I have it I will try using it too. haha.
hi cook.bake.love,
ReplyDeletei tried bakin the crab stick in oven for 20mins, but the crab stick is still soft..
hw did u make it crispy?
pls advise
thx
Hi cathccl,
ReplyDeleteIndividual oven temp varies, may be your oven's heat is lower, try to increase the temp or prolong the baking time. The timing given in the recipe is based on my oven.
However, before doing that you may want to check the following
- Did u pat dry the crab stick? Use papaer towel to absorb the water. Try to repeat a few times.
- Did u preheat your oven?
- Did u overlap the crab stick? Try not to, a bit of overlapping is ok but not whole layer.
Do try again. I am sure you can make it. Happy baking!
