I have tried this recipe the other day. Bur hor, I was so "dai tou ha", I forgotten to reserve the water which used to soak the dried shrimp. So ended up, I used normal water to cook the dish. But somehow it turned out nice wor and my husband likes it so much.
I will be cooking it again tomorrow. And I am sure I would not repeat the same mistake this time.

I like both of these ingredients, therefore I will definitely try this.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
I also like both ingredients. U may also add in some fried tofu, it's very nice. This is the way my mum cooks this dish.

Joanne,
ReplyDeleteGlad that ur husband and u like this dish.
It's not a "mistake" you can always use plain water. :-)
By using the water which used to soak the dried shrimp will add extra "sweetness" to the dish.
