BB's Ultrasound Scan on 34 Weeks

以前医生只要把仪器放在我的肚子上就能看到BB的头了,但今天医生要一直往下移才看到BB的头,原来BB的头已经engaged了(i.e baby's head has dropped below the pelvic bone)!!

BB's weight on 34 weeks: 2.3 - 2.4kg

BB's head circumstance on 34 weeks: 32mm

BB's heartbeat: 146bpm

  8. Sock Peng,

  12. I remember when Genevre was dorn 3 wks earlier... then b4 that 3 weeks...her head was already hurting me so much... that one month b4 birth...cannot walk down the steps or climb up the steps properly...its really painful... the pelvic was swollen somehow after that... how I know... during birth time... the pelvic bone was really painful and harder for me to push ..even with the epidural it didn't help much... I felt pain throughout...luckily my endurance level for pain is quite high. so you must rest well... it means...lie down more often...in sleeping position is the best actually... even sitting down is not as good...

  13. Hi Pauline,

I am 37 weeks now and I feel exactly the same as what you described.

I was perfectly fine the day before but I felt pain when walking since yesterday morning, it's just so sudden. I couldn't even walk properly, not to mentioned climb up or down the staircase.

Thanks for sharing, at least I know this is normal and I won't feel so panic now.

  14. WOW! 37wks! My friend is 37wks too! She has a condition (SPD) something about her pelvic bones softening and she is in great pain too. As you say, walking, sitting can all be very painful!

Enjoy your last few days before baby arrival! Love all your scan photos - here in UK we only get 2 scans usually. First is Dating Scan (to establish baby due date) at around 8-12wks. Second is Abnomaly Scan (to ensure baby growing properly and organs are functioning) this is at 20wks.
Unless you have gestational diabetes (like my friend) you don't get any further scans.

Congratulations on the baby - you may get a little Ox or a little Tiger!
